About
Youth of the World Together (YWT) is a Yemeni Civil Society Organization established in 2015 that has a record of accomplishments establishing safe platforms in Yemen. Since its establishment YWT has operated with the mission to bring social change, innovation, and economic opportunities to Yemeni communities by empowering and mobilizing youth through art, culture, digital media, and technology. The organization’s key focus was to enable youth to voice their issues by utilizing arts and culture,and social media to promote human rights, peace, and democracy messages to a wider audience base. YWT believes in the power of arts, culture, new media, and technology to educate, raise awareness, and inspire youth to make social change.
We provide guidance, training, and production services in new and innovative ways. Additionally, we organize artistic and cultural festivals, aiming to empower youth by connecting them with artistic and cultural tools to bring about positive changes in their communities.
We work to raise awareness of modern democracy and are committed to the highest level of education related to human rights, providing it with authenticity, integrity, and transparency.
We use new media to provide youth with safe spaces to speak, a free means to raise their voices, and a platform to believe in their ability to act and influence. This empowers youth to enhance concepts of human rights and democracy and convey the voice of the voiceless to the masses.
